WakeUpCall is a rock band from Rome, Italy. Their music is a mix of passion for Rock, with lots of different shades, from Alternative to Punk, from Metal to Pop.

WakeUpCall recorded their first 3 songs with the American famous producer Beau Hill (who sold more than 50 million of copies working with bands such as Alice Cooper, Eric Clapton, Ratt....).

They started soon to hit the road, playing the biggest clubs all around Italy and Europe, playing also with international acts such as Silverstein (Canada), Winger (USA), Sonic Syndicate (Swe), RED (USA), Heaven’s Basement (UK), Crossfaith (Japan), Richie Kotzen (USA), Palaye Royale (USA) and Shandon, The Fire, Vanilla Sky, Salmo, Pino Scotto and many more from Italy.

Their first album “Batteries Are Not Included” was released on October 2012 in Italy and on December 2012 in Germany. The album’s three singles were played by Italian, German and Austrian radios and music televisions, especially Just Wanna Dance that get into the Italian indie singles top chart.

The band's second album "If Beethoven Was a Punk" was released on June 27, 2017 in Italy and Europe with a special release sold out show in Rome. Followed by several shows in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Russia and for the first time in China!
What if Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Tchaikovsky and the other great composers had grown up with Led Zeppelin, Guns n Roses and Nirvana's posters on their bedroom walls? "If Beethoven Was a Punk" is a concept album about the classical music and the love to the music, that can save your life in your darkest days and moments.

In 2019 WakeUpCall wrote their first song in Italian language and they were chosen among 800 artists in the final 60 artists for Sanremo (the biggest Italian festival). The song got in the Italian radio top indie chart for 8 weeks (#20 highest chart rank).

In 2020 the band released a very special rock cover of the most famous Italian song in the world “Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu (Volare)”, the song received a special award from MEI.

2021 the band recorded eleven new songs with the famous Italian producer A. Pachetti. Their first Italian and third album “Doveva essere un disco indie” was released in 2023.
